Quagen’s story begins in 2019 in Belfast, Northern Ireland when founder Liam – an accountant by profession – decided to channel his love for business and Irish heritage into a new venture. What started as a side project quickly blossomed into a creative outlet for designing stainless steel and gold‑plated jewellery with Celtic‑inspired motifs.

During the pandemic in 2020, Liam devoted more time to Quagen, refining designs and forging relationships with customers worldwide. The surge in demand led to growth – by 2021 Quagen welcomed five new team members to help with design, production and customer service. Despite global uncertainty, the Quagen family expanded and thrived.

Demand continued through 2022, enabling us to invest in better equipment, training and new collections. When the world reopened in 2023 we shifted our focus from volume to quality, honing each piece to reflect the craftsmanship and attention to detail we are proud of. 2024 saw the launch of fresh product lines and limited‑edition collections, inspired by Irish mythology and modern fashion.

Looking ahead, 2025 marks a renewed direction for Quagen: we aim to become the number one jewellery provider in Northern Ireland by balancing innovation with the tradition that defined us. Liam now oversees the financial strategy while Lawrence ensures operations run smoothly. Our team, still rooted in Belfast, remains committed to crafting jewellery that tells our story and celebrates yours.

Throughout our journey from a single desk in a spare room to a growing workshop, we have stayed true to quality and transparency. We design and assemble our pieces in‑house using durable materials like 316L stainless steel and gold plating, work with trusted local workshops when needed, and share real photos of our finished products so you know exactly what you’re getting. All our designs are original — we respect intellectual property and never resell generic goods.
